The 18th Meeting of the Governing Board (the Board) of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) was held 13-15 June 2023 in Tunis, Tunisia. There were 61 participants, including high-level policy makers, government officials and civil society representatives. Decisions taken included the approval of new Governing Board Constituencies, the 2022 Audited Financial Statements, the 2022 Annual Report, investment strategies for Chad, Kenya, Iraq and Yemen, and endorsement of the pilot initiative to support the pre-departure phase from Al-Hawl and Al-Roj camps in northeast Syria for Third Country Nationals. The meeting featured the first GCERF Board Retreat as well as high-level visits with GCERF grantees.
