Fatima Star U. Lamalan is a Project Officer for ForumZFD, with a focus on grassroots-level nonviolent conflict transformation and Indigenous Peoples’ rights advocacy. She was previously with the Ateneo de Davao University, which allowed her to work with academic, civil society, and state actors and institutions in policy formulation approaches on prevention of violent extremism and curricular integration of peace education in the Philippines.
