16th Board Meeting, 14-16 June 2022, Tirana, Albania
The 16th Meeting of the GCERF Governing Board was held 14-16 June 2022 in Tirana, Albania. Due to remaining COVID-19 travel limitations, the meeting was held with full virtual capability for remote participants. There were 60 participants, including high-level representatives from the Sahel and the Western Balkans. Decisions taken included the 2021 Audited Financial Statements, the Partnership Policy, and the 2021 Annual Report. The meeting featured a high-level visit with GCERF grantees and representatives of the Albanian, government, as well as a high-level conference on “Rising to the Challenge of Rehabilitation and Reintegration to Prevent Violent Extremism” co-hosted with the Government of Albania and the European Union.
