Recalibrating security-community relations for preventing violent extremism in Northern Kenya
In Northern Kenya's Garissa, Isiolo, and Mandera counties, a GCERF-funded programme revitalised the Nyumba Kumi community policing model, lifting confidence in these structures from 15.1% to 41.03% and transforming once-wary communities into active security partners.
