Dr Lilla Schumicky-Logan is the Deputy Executive Director and Head of Portfolio Management. She holds MAs in both Philosophy and Cultural Anthropology and earned her PhD at the Peace Studies Department of the University of Bradford, UK. Her areas of expertise include re-integration and rehabilitation of at-risk youth in conflict and post-conflict settings with a focus on social skills development. Lilla has worked for universities, NGOs and the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gambia, Kenya, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Switzerland, Syria and Uganda. She has also worked on humanitarian and development programmes focusing on Bangladesh, Mali, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Tunisia. She regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals and popular blogs.
