Dr David Wand is the Head of Performance and Impact. He holds a PhD in International Development from Tulane University. His PhD research employed the permutation test to examine statistical correlations between social capital and government institutional performance for selected District Assemblies in Ghana. He also holds an MPA with a specialisation in program evaluation and a BSc in social psychology. His areas of expertise include designing monitoring and evaluation systems as well as applying inferential statistics in completing impact evaluations. David worked for five years as a statistics lecturer for universities and as an evaluation advisor and statistician for 11 years with NGOs and the United Nations in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Sri Lanka.
