Celebrating Five Years of Preventing Violent Extremism

 

The Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) celebrates 5 years’ building community resilience to violent extremism today.

In this short time, the Geneva-based fund has built projects in communities at risk of violent extremism in seven countries: Bangladesh, Kenya, Kosovo, Mali, Nigeria, Tunisia and the Philippines reaching more than one million people vulnerable to radicalisation, and supporting at least a further 5 million people indirectly.
